2025 Evolutions - No Extinctions Happening Here!
How do you keep evolving to provide the best event you can? Unlike our poor dino friends, extinction is not in our vocabulary! Based on your feedback in last year's post-race surveys, we’re revising a few aspects, especially logistics and the event's environmental footprint, to ensure the experience is smoother, more sustainable, and more enjoyable for everyone.
This page is a one-stop shop to find the changes and make sure you're up to date, especially when last year, 41% of our entrants had registered for our race previously. That return rate means we're doing so much right, but we should always embrace improving!

August 18, 2025 - Added Info about the 100K,100Mile Facebook group. A Facebook Group of a few hundred members that we maintain for the current 100K and 100 mile entrants as well as past finishers of those distances to support our athletes! In the past, we posted about the group out on our Facebook page, but we didn't mention it on the website. Info on the Facebook Group HERE...

August 14, 2025 - Parking and Shuttles updated. We have a new parking location, and we have new shuttle logistics, to make the race a better experience for everyone! New parking and shuttles page HERE...

August 6, 2025 - New Crewing information available. A full webpage just for crewing is now HERE... Crew areas have changed and what you can and can not bring to the crew areas is clearer now. Page details still being refined.

July 29, 2025 - Changes for Saturday and Sunday Race Starts for 50K, 25K, and 5 Mile: Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on parking and shuttle logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly. As part of that planning, we need your help choosing your race day so we can deliver the best experience for you. Currently registered entrants as of this date will choose between racing on Saturday with a new 9:00 AM start time, or racing on Sunday with an 8:00 AM start time. Initially, you could show up and race on either day; however, to provide everyone with the smoothest possible shuttle experience, we now require a solid headcount for each day. New entrants after this date will only be able to select the Sunday race start option. New info on the website about this change HERE.
