Getting Here and Staying Here
This race takes place in Glen Rose, Texas, which is located approximately 1 hour southwest of Fort Worth, Texas or about 1 1/2 hours southwest of Dallas, Texas. The region of North Texas is served generally by multiple airlines through two major airports, and the town is accessible via rental car. We have both hotel and camping options available for area lodging.
Air Travel
The metroplex of Dallas-Fort Worth is served by two area airports:
-
DFW - Dallas-Fort Worth International - 82.8 miles, approx. 1 hr, 25 minutes in good traffic, this airport is also a hub for American Airlines.
-
DAL - Dallas Love Field - 86.0 miles, approx. 1 hr, 30 minutes in good traffic, the smaller airport that mostly serves Southwest Airlines.
Rental Cars and Ride-Share Info
A car will be needed to get around. There will be no shuttle service from the airports arranged, as we expect the vast majority of attendees to be locals or have rented a car for the trip from the airport. Ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are very expensive for the drive from the airports to the race site.

Those registered for the 100K and 100 Miler have access to a Facebook Group for preparing for the event, and they are encouraged to use this to coordinate carpooling! You must fill out the membership questions and await approval to join the group.
Hotel and Cabin Accommodations
We offer camping in the State Park (next section), but there are also hotels, cabins, and large RV campsites in the Glen Rose area too!

HOTELS: We suggest 3 hotels in Glen Rose, all of which are near each other and about 15 minutes away from the race. All options off a 3 PM check-in and an 11 AM check-out. We've given you a variety of options below that can work with your needs.

Camping Options
Stomp, snooze, and stay close to the action.
Looking to sleep under the stars and wake up where the dinosaurs once roamed? We’ve got three great camping options for race weekend, whether you’re pitching a tent in the trees, rolling in with your RV, or setting up base camp right at the Race Hub. State Park Campsites for race weekend are booked through our website HERE and not through the State Park's booking system.
